PokerStars donate £3,480 to JDF

Sat, 24 Oct 2020

Joey Dunlop Foundation wish to thank PokerStars for their generous donation of £3,480.00 which is to cover the cost of two new height adjustable profiling beds as well as a new oven and hob at the charity's specialist holiday accommodation at Braddan Bridge House. The self-catering apartments have been open for over 10 years with some equipment in need of replacement.

The Charity Committee at PokerStars were made aware of the fact that Joey Dunlop Foundation was struggling throughout 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Usually the Foundation would raise funds from several motorcycle events such as the NW200, Isle of Man TT, Southern 100, Classic TT, Manx Grand Prix and several shows over in the UK. The generous donation is greatly appreciated and the JDF will install the new equipment over the winter months.
