Joey Dunlop Foundation wish to thank Julie Morton for sending £200 to the charity and congratulate everyone who helped raise £822 for Age Concern Causeway.
A Joey Dunlop competition prize draw was put together to generate foot fall for shops in Ballymoney. A lot of small street businesses have been challenged but this was majestic for five local businesses to open their doors and sell tickets for local charity Age Concern Causeway as a tribute to Joey. He'll never be forgotten for his wonderful charity work.
The competition draw took place at Joey's Bar on the 19th December. Minister of Communities Gordon Lyons, Independent Councillor Rodney Quigley, Julie Morton, McKillop Motorcycles Ivan McKillop, along with his daughter Laura were present to present a floral bouquet to Linda.
Representatives of Age Concern, William McCandless, Mandy Corr and Julie Morton are so grateful to everyone, given that this can be a difficult, busy time of year, Outstanding!
Thank you everyone who helped raise a fantastic amount of funds for very worthy charities.
Special thanks to Stuart Melville who put together a wonderful video. The shops that sold tickets: ANNE'S HOT BREAD SHOP, McKILLOP MOTORCYCLES, MILLSPORT MOTORCYCLES, ZINC RESTAURANT, SUPERBITES Sit in and Takeaway.
